A warm and engaged audience braved an oncoming rainstorm at Westbury’s Piazza Ernesto Strada to see The Gilbert & Sullivan Light Opera Company of Long Island’s production of The World According to Gilbert & Sullivan, starring a quintet of the company’s finest artists. Their gamble paid off, as the rain didn’t start until 10 minutes after the end of the final song.
