FULL VERSION OF 'THE MIKADO' TO DEBUT IN COMMACK

The Mikado isn't The Mikado without a full chorus and orchestra--which is what the Gilbert & Sullivan classic will have when it debuts on Saturday, June 20, at 3 p.m. at the Star Playhouse at the Suffolk JCC in Commack. The Gilbert & Sullivan Light Opera Company of Long Island will offer an all-new production of the show known as the world's most popular comic opera: The Mikado: A Long Island Fanasy, which will transport the beloved show to 1920s Long Island.
