'THE GRAND OLE OPRY' TO CO-HOST 'AN EVENING IN A DISTANT COUNTRY'

Tennessee Walt's three streaming concerts have benefited from dozens of co-hosts, most of them tristate-area libraries. When An Evening in a Distant Country streams on July 5 at 8 p.m., however, it will have a very special co-host: The Grand Ole Opry, the most legendary radio and television program in the history of country music. "It's a real honor," Walt said, "and will bring us listeners from all over the country. I hope and trust we won't let them down!"
