'THE GRAND OLE OPRY' TO CO-HOST TENNESSEE WALT'S 'HANK WILLIAMS BIRTHDAY PARTY'

Now it's a party! The Grand Ole Opry, the longest-running radio program in the history and a mainstay of American country music, has come aboard as a co-host for Tennessee Walt's Sept. 17 streaming Hank Williams Birthday Party. Streaming live at 8 p.m. on Facebook Live, the program will consist entirely of Hank Williams songs. "The Grand Ole Opry is an icon of country music," Walt said, "and so is Hank Williams. It's a nature pairing, and I'm honored to be the matchmaker."
