'THE MIKADO: A LONG ISLAND FANTASY' SCORES A HIT

The Gilbert & Sullivan Light Opera Company of Long Island's production of The Mikado: A Long Island Fantasy opened, in its full-company, orchestral form, Friday night at the Star Playhouse in Commack. A substantial audience defied spiraling COVID-19 rates to attend the show, and gave it a resounding reception.
