'THE MIKADO' TAKES HECKSCHER PARK BACK TO THE 1920s

A crowd of more than 400 people was transported back to the 1920s on Sunday evening, when the Gilbert & Sullivan Light Opera Company of Long Island presented its 2022 production, "The Mikado: A Long Island Fantasy," as part of the Huntington Summer Arts Festival. The show was originally scheduled for July 2020, but was postponed twice due to the pandemic; the general consensus from audience and company alike was that it was worth the wait!
