'VERY TRULY YOURS, G&S' PASSES 350 VIEWS IN LESS THAN 48 HOURS

The Gilbert & Sullivan Light Opera Company of Long Island is celebrating a successful launch of its new online movie, Very Truly Yours, Gilbert & Sullivan. Written and directed by Gayden Wren, the movie features 51 past and present company members, all of whom participated in the filming remotely. It debuted on YouTube at 3 p.m. on Saturday, and passed 350 views--many of them group viewings and even public screenings--in its first 48 hours. Response from Gilbert & Sullivan aficionados around the world has been overwhelmingly positive, Wren said.
